في إنجاز قطري جديد يضاف إلى سجل النجاحات العلمية على الساحة الدولية، توجت المبتكرتان القطريتان آمنة عيسى الكواري وفاطمة عيسى الكواري بالمركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية في فئة الأفراد، ضمن مشاركتهما خلال النسخة السادسة والثلاثون من معرض ومسابقة الاختراع والابتكار والتكنولوجيا الدولي بماليزيا ITEX، الذي أُقيم مؤخرًا في العاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور.
وجاء هذا التتويج المرموق ثمرة لفكرة مبتكرة وجهود بحثية متميزة، تمثلت في تصميم سوار ذكي لمنع الحوادث الناتجة عن النعاس أثناء القيادة، حيث يعمل السوار على رصد العلامات المبكرة للنعاس والتنبيه الفوري للسائقين، مما يسهم في تعزيز سلامة الطرق والحد من الحوادث، ويتماشى مع أهداف التنمية المستدامة ورؤية قطر الوطنية.
وأعربت المبتكرتان عن فخرهما بهذا الإنجاز الذي يُمثل دولة قطر ويرفع رايتها في المحافل الدولية، مؤكدتين أن الفوز يعكس شغفهما بالعلم والتطوير، ويُعد نتيجة طبيعية للعمل الدؤوب والدعم الكبير الذي يحظى به الشباب القطري من القيادة الرشيدة.
وقدمت آمنة وفاطمة الكواري شكرهما لجميع الجهات التي ساندتهما في مسيرتهما، وخصتا بالذكر إدارة النادي العلمي القطري لدوره الحيوي في تقديم الدعم الفني والتقني الذي ساعد على تطوير الابتكار خلال مراحل تنفيذه من الفكرة الى النموذج الاولي.
يُذكر أن هذا السوار الذكي كان قد حصل على عدة جوائز محلية ودولية سابقة ، ما يؤكد جودته وفاعليته في دعم السلامة المرورية، ويعكس القدرات الابتكارية المتنامية لشباب قطر على المستوى العالمي.

Two Qatari Innovators Win Top Honors at International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition in Malaysia
In a significant achievement that adds to Qatar’s growing list of international scientific successes, Qatari innovators Amna Issa Al-Kuwari and Fatima Issa Al-Kuwari were awarded first place and a gold medal in the individual category at the 36th International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) held recently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Their accolade was earned for an innovative idea and outstanding research efforts: the design of a smart bracelet aimed at preventing accidents caused by drowsy driving. The device detects early signs of fatigue and delivers immediate alerts to drivers, enhancing road safety and contributing to accident prevention. The invention aligns with Qatar’s National Vision and supports broader sustainable development goals.
The innovators expressed pride in representing Qatar on the international stage, emphasizing that the award reflects their deep passion for science and innovation. They credited their success to persistent dedication and the substantial support young Qatari talents receive from the nation’s leadership.
Amna and Fatima extended their gratitude to all organizations that supported their journey, with special thanks to the Qatar Scientific Club for its vital role in providing technical and logistical support throughout the development stages of their invention—from concept to prototype.
Notably, the smart bracelet has previously garnered multiple local and international awards, underscoring its quality, effectiveness in enhancing road safety, and the rising global presence of Qatari youth in innovation and technology.
